Celtic Essence is the blend the estate has poured since 1967. Beans are picked at 2200 m, shade-grown beneath native silver oak, and freeze-dried within hours of the wash so nothing volatile escapes.
The cup is deep and unhurried: dark cocoa up front, a thread of black pepper, and a long finish that never turns bitter. It is the reference point for every other blend we make.

Add one heaped teaspoon (2 g) to 150 ml of water just off the boil. Stir for ten seconds. Add milk and sugar to taste — the crema settles on its own.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the jar immediately after use — freeze-dried granules take up moisture quickly. Best within 18 months of the date printed on the base.
